Very kind staff willing to assist you in whatever way possible with your stay. Room was very clean. Gym was the largest and most equipped for a hotel that I have ever seen - treadmills, yoga area, lots of different strength machines. Good location too, only a short hike up to Mont Royal.

FAQs about hotels in Montreal

A Blend of the Urban and the Outdoors

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground to the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, movie theaters and food courts.

From there, the metro will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.

In summer, stay closer to the historic quarter and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St. Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t good enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to Montreal Casino.

Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

It was a pleasant city but apart from the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Mont Royal park and the Point a Calliere museum, there wasn’t much else of interest to us. We found it annoying that the many restaurants along the streets would not serve us just a drink without a meal.

Mistake, I cut the trip short and went home disappointed. I find the hotels and restaurants very expensive compering them to Europe. Every think looks nice on the pictures but when you see them in person you think that you are in a wrong place.

    Clean, well maintained city.

Clean, well maintained city. The Underground was cool and unaffected by bad weather. A great urban environment like a Chicago or a really nice New York. A mountain in the city was neat. Lots of places to eat. Uber has lots of drivers and was prompt and works well to get around.

Staying in old Montreal was a real treat!

Staying in old Montreal was a real treat! My friend that traveled with me said it was just like being in Paris! The darling patio restaurants were every where. We enjoyed lunch, happy hour and dinners at all the cute places we ate at. There were many different cuisines to pick from as well as inviting patios. You can't go wrong picking out cozy spots to eat, drink and be merry in old Montreal! A very memorable spot where walking around and discovering was soooo fun!

Using the Metro system of subways and buses was so easy and allowed us to travel to all parts of the city. Spending a day in Little Portugal, or Little Italy was so much fun. Although French is the predominant language, almost everybody spoke English, my native language. We felt like we were vising a city in France, and appreciated the old-world architecture kept in place by such organizations as Save Montreal and Heritage Montreal. What a majestic city!

Clean comfortable room with everything needed to have maximum flexibility and enjoyment when visiting Montreal. The hotel is very close to a subway station that serves three different lines (UQMA Berry), within walking distance of downtown / old Montreal, has parking (if required but honestly, not required) and the breakfast provided had all the basics plus fresh bagels / croissants! The room had everything you needed including kitchen, window that can open with screen.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It's only a short walk from the Old Town and Old Port, but also only a few steps from Downtown and the central station. The bus to the airport (#747) stops also very close by. The hotel is nice and clean, the room and bathroom are spacious, the bed is comfortable. I'd say the price-quality is good and a decent buffet breakfast is also included in the price. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is in excellent location. We can walk to the Old Montreal in 15 minutes. It is close to the train, subway station and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The bed is clean and comfortable. The room is clean with hardwood floor and ceramic tile. It was quiet at night considering its situated right downtown. I'm quite happy with my stay. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the breakfast since we got up late every day.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in downtown Montreal. The room was simple, very clean and had everything we needed. Yes, it is European style and maybe if you have a lot of luggage it could be a squeeze but it was just right for us as we travel light. Perfectly placed for lots of restaurants and bars, easy short walk to the Metro and to the old part of Montreal. Staff were very nice, efficient and helpful.

The only good thing about LeLuxe Hotel is its location. It’s in downtown Montreal and close to everything—restaurants, shops, and major attractions are all within walking distance. Unfortunately, the room was not clean, the bed was damaged, and the service was poor. If location is your only priority, this place might work. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a better overall experience.
