Circuit information

The Alice Grand Prix De France is held in Le Mans, approximately 200km south-west of Paris. The circuit which is named after Ettore Bugatti uses various sections of the famous  24 hours of Le Mans circuit, Circuit de la Sarthe and a separate purpose built section. The sections of track on the Bugatti Circuit that are on the Circuit de la Sarthe include the Ford Chicane at the end of the lap, the pit complex, and the straight where the Dunlop Tires bridge is located.

The first 24 hour race was held in 1923, since that the track layout was modified several times. The 4.2 km long Bugatti circuit was built in 1966 and it has 11 turns of which 7 are right hand corners and 4 left-handers.
